Hub Provision (Covid-19)

Inglewood Junior School Hub is open for children of Critical Workers and Vulnerable children.

The Hub offers provision during the hours of 8.30am-3pm and the children will complete their Remote Home Learning during this time. At Inglewood Junior School our Covid Risk Assessments allow us to have the capacity to offer 16 places per year group, organised in classrooms with no more than 8 pupils per room.

In order for us to assess whether your child is entitled to a place in the hub we will need proof of your Critical worker status.

Therefore your employer must email a letter to n.bowe@inglewood-jun.cumbria.sch.uk confirming your role and why it’s is Critical. You will then need to email an explanation why you have no alternative childcare provision in your support bubble.

Once we have received this communication we can assess whether your situation meets the criteria for a place at the Hub.

Please be aware the Hub provision is only for Critical Workers as outlined by the government guidelines and for emergency use. It is also dependent on the availability of staff to facilitate the hub week on week.

However, please remember that your child's Class Teacher is available via the iPad during school hours to support your child with their Remote Home Learning.

The Inglewood Junior School Pastoral Team have Risk Assessed the children to identify the children that we deem to be vulnerable following the Government guidelines and advice. This Risk Assessment is constantly evaluated and adjusted as necessary. Inglewood Junior School staff will make direct contact with families to offer Hub places if we feel they are within his category.

All hub enquiries and contact must be emailed to: n.bowe@inglewood-jun.cumbria.sch.uk
